Train with Team Canada!

Calgary and area skaters and goalies -- now is your chance to train with Ringette Canada's national team program Coaches and Consultants! 

Ringette Canada will be in Calgary during the week of Aug 4-10 at Cardel Rec Centre while hosting their camps for the U21 Junior National Team, U18 Development Team, and the U17 La Releve program.

While these national programs are in our city, Ringette Canada, in partnership with Ringette Alberta and AA Ringette Calgary, is offering Calgary and area youth athletes an opportunity to train with the Team Canada experts!

The following sessions are being offered by Ringette Canada's national team program coaches and consultants:

U12 / U14 SKATING SKILLS SESSIONS:  Online Registration

• Led by Team Canada's Skating Skills Coach, Mel Thomas, with a focus on age-appropriate technical and tactical skating development specific to ringette and ringette skill development. 
• $20.00 / participant for each session with funds going to support the National Team Program. 
• Maximum 36 participants

AVAILABLE SESSIONS:

"THE CONFIDENCE BOOST" GOALIE SESSION:   Online Registration

• The Confidence Boost will be lead by Caitlyn Brannon, one of our Ringette Canada Mental Performance Consultants. 
• Open to P/T and F/T goalies aged 9 - 13 years old 
• $20.00 / participant with funds going to support the National Team Program. 
• Maximum 36 participants

GOALIE SESSION SCHEDULE:

Wed Aug 6

9:15 - 10:15 -- Classroom session (Maple Leaf Room at Cardel Rec South)

10:20 - 11:15 -- Goalie Training Observation session of U17 and U18 camps

11:15 - 1:15 -- Goalie Training Observation session of Junior National Team practice

Shout out to Ringette Canada, Ringette Alberta, AA Ringette Calgary, Mel Thomas Performance and Five Count Ringette Goalies for supporting these training opportunities for our young Calgary athletes! Funds raised through the registration fees for these sessions will go toward supporting the National Team program.

In addition, the CRC 2022 Legacy Fund administered by Ringette Calgary will also donate $20 for each participant who attends a development session. These proceeds will be directed to the sponsorship of AA Ringette Calgary athletes and alumni who are selected to represent Canada at the World Ringette Championships in Lahti, Finland this November.

FREE ADMISSION! Get your friends together and come cheer on the best ringette action in the country! There are several scrimmages and intersquad games that will be running during the week long National Program camp.

Minor Officials - Volunteer Sign up

Catch the action from the best seats in the rink! Ringette Canada needs volunteers to run the timeclock and the RAMP scoresheet for various JNT, U18 and U17 games. All games are at the Cardel Rec Centre.
