AA Ringette Calgary is a non-profit, high-level youth sports program. Our dedicated volunteers work toward a well-structured foundation that teaches confidence and life skills through the best sport ever—ringette.
The operation of our program is administered by the AA Committee. It convenes shortly after team selection in the fall with its Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Board meets every month all year and the Committee meetings are held approximately every 1-2 months during the season. The executive board and certain committee positions continue through the off-season to facilitate operation and upcoming season items.
During the season, three members from each team are required to attend meetings and volunteer for specific committee or executive board roles (which are usually held for a term from October to September). Managers are also encouraged to attend committee meetings.
