Hello ringette enthusiasts!Ringette Calgary is pleased to be offering not 1, not 2, but 4 Come Try Ringette sessions during Sport Calgary’s All Sport One Day event on June 17, 2023. Come Try Ringette (CTR) events are only as successful when we have many smiling volunteers to assist with the event. The events on June 17 will be a little different than in the past as we will only be allocated half of the ice surface - curling will be on the other half. We will limit the amount of participants to 30 for each session. The events will be held back-to-back at the Southland Leisure Center in the Ed Whalen Arena. Volunteers can sign up via the SignUp Genius link here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/ . Please see the volunteeer roles and expectations.5080444ADAE2BA1FE3-june Volunteer blocks for the events are as follows:Session 1 + 2 = 9:15am to 12:15pmSession 3 + 4 = 12:00pm to 3:15pmVolunteer roles are:· Greeter + Registration desk (2)

As this is a Ringette Calgary event, it is hoped that the 3 Calgary associations can work together to provide equal volunteer representation. This would mean approximately 10 volunteers/volunteer blocks are filled by each association. Please indicate your association affiliation in the notes in SignUp Genius. If you have attendees that would like to participate, please direct them to the cometryringette.ca website until May 31 or the Sport Calgary All Sport One Day registration page after June 1.If you have any questions, please contact Debbie, the overall event lead, at Debbie.NW.Ringette@gmail.com .
