This year's Junior National Team boasts 10 athletes from the Calgary and surrounding area -- all alumni from the Calgary AA and Zone 2 AA programs. In support of their trip to Finland to compete at the World Ringette Championships this fall, this group of local athletes is hosting a fundraiser event.

About the World Ringette Championships:

The World Ringette Championships are set to return this November in Lahti, Finland. This event which happens every other year seeks to promote ringette on the world scene as well as sisterhood and camaraderie between nations.

The 2025 WRCs will play host to the Senior National Team in the Sam Jacks Pool, the U21 Junior World Championship and the President's Pool World Championship. The event will also coincide with the U18 International Development Festival. Over 250 athletes, including many local Calgary AA athletes and alumni, will be part of the thrilling action.
