2022 - 2023 Community Involvement

Throughout the season, our teams are active in the support of our communities.

Calgary AA Ringette was thrilled to hold a clothing drive in Feb 2023 in support of the Making Changes program called “My Best Friend’s Closet” - a program that provides stylish clothing to teen girls in need. All of the Calgary AA teams were presented with a challenge to collect donations of new or gently used clothing items to donate in support of the program. We put the challenge to our teams to support our community and they showed up in a big way! Over 2600 items were collected and $250 was donated through this initiative. Congratulations to U16AA CURRENT for collecting the most items and winning tickets to a Hitmen game for their prize!  Thank you and great job to all our Calgary AA Ringette teams for supporting this meaningful community initiative!
