NRL 2019 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!
2018-19 Calgary RATH
The Calgary RATH play in the Western Conference of the National Ringette League (NRL), the top-level ringette league in Canada. They finished out 2019 ranked No. 1 in Canada; currently, they are ranked No. 1 in the NRL Western Division.
- In 2019, at the CRCs in PEI, the RATH persevered, taking their game all the way—to the Gold and the NRL National Championship title!! It’s their first title win since 2013.
- At both the 2015 and 2016 National Championships (CRC), they were awarded the Agnes Jacks True Sport Award for exceptional sportsmanship and team camaraderie—as chosen by their peers.
While not directly connected with AA Ringette Calgary, the Calgary RATH maintain close ties with Ringette Calgary associations and our program (former Calgary AA players often make the roster). They maintain a constant presence in our community, to promote and support ringette at all levels in our city and nation.
