Our teams love competition and battle hard in every tournament, with the unflagging support of bench staff and parents. Check back for updates as the season progresses.
February 15-17 — On the jet to Paris (Ontario, that is). U16AA Core made the journey for this four-team tournament that included great local teams and a U16 Finland team. It was Finland’s fourth-annual trip, who brought sportsmanship, big smiles, pins and really cool names 🙂 . Core dug deep and came up with the Gold in the final match against Finland. What a trip!

February 15-18 — We ? ringette—at the Spruce Grove Sweetheart Tournament. U16AA Impulse travelled north for this Family Day weekend tournament to compete in a four-team pool. Impulse played through to the final match, winning the Gold vs home team Spruce Grove. Congrats!

January 31-February 3 — East into the polar vortex for this exciting ten-team tourney. The cold weather agreed with U16AA Impulse, who challenged their way to the final match, taking Gold vs Rive Sud. Way to go!

January 18-20 — First up in the New Year, the largest ringette tourney in the world—right here at home. The very successful 33rd EGRT proved once again that ringette is a first-class sport, with thrilling competition and nail-biting games. Our three U16AA teams dug deep in this 8-team tourney. Core and Impulse made it to the Semi-Finals; Core landed in the Gold Medal match vs Zone 2, and took the Gold. What a weekend, congrats!

December 14-16 — At the holiday-infused Ice Breaker, our U16AA teams found mild winter weather and down-home competition. With eight teams rounding out their division, Impulse dug deep but ended out of final contention. Core fought hard in the Bronze match, with a shoot-out battle giving way to 4th place. Crew stood tall in the Gold match, edging out Spruce Grove after two shootout rounds. Great effort by all!

November 23-25 — On the road straight north for this annual trek, the Wood tournament hosted 10 teams in the U16AA division. Impulse and Core challenged their way through their pools, meeting each other in the Final match. Impulse won Gold and Core claimed Silver, proud to be sister-teams in the end. Congrats on a great weekend!

November 9-11 — Road Trip! U16AA Impulse caught the bus out to Saskatoon to compete with five teams in their division. A great weekend for team bonding, Impulse played their way to the final match and took Silver vs. Spruce Grove. Nice work!

Nov 1-4 — On the road and on the bus for the first major tournament of the season. With six teams in the U16AA division, Core and Crew landed in the Gold Medal final for a sister-team showdown. Core won Gold and Crew claimed Silver—but are Friends First for a post-game photo.

Oct 6-8 — Snow is already on the ground, which only adds to the thanksgiving spirit of the Turkey Ring. With four teams in their division, Crew made it to the final with St. Albert, and claimed Silver. Great effort!
