U19AA Tournament Results 2016/17

Our teams love competition and battle hard in every tournament, with the unflagging support of bench staff and parents. Here are this season’s highlights…

Calgary: Gold for our U19s at EGRT 2017

With five U19AA teams (January 13-15) in their division, the largest ringette tournament in the world set the stage for high-level skill and speed. Team Calgary battled through close games, including an overtime win and another close battle to claim Gold in the Final. Way to go!

Lacombe: Silver for Calgary at Ice Breaker Tournament

With six U19AA teams (December 16-18) in their division, our U19’s braved the cold and tough competition, while bringing the holiday spirit to capture Silver. Congratulations on great team work and a successful first-half of your season.

Edmonton: Silver for Calgary at Wood Tournament

Hosting eight U19AA division teams (November 25-27), this tournament showcased exciting competition and thrilling games to watch. Our Calgary team made it to the Gold Medal match, with a nail-biting overtime shootout that resolved to winning Silver. What a finish, great tournament!

Saskatoon: Gold for Calgary at Bernadette Price Memorial

At this tournament (November 11-13), six teams were hosted in the U19AA division, which made for great competition at this level. Congrats to our U19 team, who took home the Gold!
